Why set up the company virtually, and what it changes
A virtual set-up removes the travel and the waiting. You sign documents electronically, meet us by video call and keep running your existing business while the Singapore entity is formed.
It also changes how you run the company afterwards. Directors who live outside Singapore, a registered address and a company secretary handle the local presence, and the company can be managed remotely from day one. That is a deliberate choice, and it affects banking, substance and who signs what, so we set it up with those in mind.
One limit to plan for: opening a corporate bank account may still require identity verification in person, depending on the bank. We tell you early which steps are remote and which are not.
What is included

Questions about virtual incorporation
Is a virtual incorporation legally the same as a normal one?
Yes. The company is registered with ACRA in the usual way. "Virtual" describes how the process is carried out, not a different type of company.
Will I ever need to visit Singapore?
Not for incorporation. Some banks ask for in-person verification when opening a corporate account, and some activities need a visit. We tell you which in the first consultation.
Do I still need a local director?
Yes. A Singapore company needs at least one director who is ordinarily resident in Singapore. We can discuss how this is usually handled.
